How ANYONE can gain 400 MMR in 12 weeks…

Here’s the thing guys,,

Whenever I share stories about our coaching students seeing great results,

Most players jump to one of these 2 conclusions:

  1. “This guy is an outlier, I am different and could never do that”

  2. “He must have gotten CARRIED lol…”

This student was neither one of these two.

Meet Rico, who came into the Grand Champ Bootcamp in Plat 1 and finished his 12 weeks with a final rank of Champ 1

(That’s an increase of OVER 400 MMR!)

Before the GCB, he had tried other coaches to no avail. Not that the coaches were necessarily bad, he just didn’t get what he needed out of them

So what changed after he joined the GCB?

Here’s what he said about his experience in the program (with RLCS pro FreaKii):

I realized early on that coaching was the route for me because of the time savings. I think FreaKii is a very, very good coach. Probably the best I have seen in everybody I’ve ever worked with. I’ve learned that having a rank and having the ability to teach are two different things. However, the GCB (and coaching) is no magic pill. Like anything in life you want to accomplish, it requires hard, hard work. I am older so it takes me a little bit longer to understand and learn. The GCB held me accountable especially with the weekly homework, but I still had to practice hours and hours to see results.
