Meet RLCS pro coach, Virge
Today, I am officially partnering with Virge, one of the mostly widely known pro coaches in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). |
For those of you who don’t know, Virge was pioneer in the world of Rocket League coaching. |
Across his competitive career with teams like Dignitas, Evil Genuises, and PSG Tundra, he competed at the top of professional Rocket League. Notable results include his European Champion run in S9 with Dignitas, and their famous, comeback, reverse sweep against FC Barcelona.
Perhaps most impressively, Virge has stayed connected with the community throughout his competitive career by documenting his journey on his Youtube channel.
On a more personal note, Virge has been an inspiration to me since I started making Rocket League videos back in 2020.
That is why when Virge told me he was considering retiring from pro play and returning to Youtube, I wanted to do everything I could to support him.
Since then, we’ve talked weekly and he even flew out to Chicago to meet IRL and discuss our vision for the company.
As we talked, I became even more excited about Virge and his vision for the GCB…
Virge’s vision is to build the GCB into an ecosystem that connects RLCS level pros with everyday Rocket League players like you. We want the GCB to be a one-of-a-kind experience in Rocket League and a pioneer in the gaming industry as a whole.
So many Rocket League players don’t have a sense of community outside of their work and home. They don’t have that “3rd place.” We want the GCB to be that 3rd place for people.
Today, I couldn’t be more excited to make it official.

When Virge came to me, he had one, simple request.
Our conversation went something like this:
Virge - “If I’m going to come on… we’ve got to make this program more accessible. It can’t be $1400 to work with us. I’ve built a brand on not gatekeeping anything and I can’t join a program that’s not transparent. There has to be a place for everyone in the community here, not just the 1%”
Luke - “Yea I hear you. So… what do you want to do?”

So, with Virge coming on we're rebranding to be fully transparent. We’re going to call it what it is. The Discord is not “SpookLuke’s Training Club,” this is the Grand Champ Bootcamp Discord.
Don’t worry, the “Training Club” legacy will live on. I’ve renamed this email newsletter to “The Training Club” to continue the legacy. We will still be running the GCB Free Skool Community as well.
